1. Contacting us

If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, we will store the data you provide for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Our contact form is designed so that only the data necessary for contacting you and processing your request needs to be entered. This includes your name, email address, organization, job title, the subject of your message, and the content of your message (input field “Message”). We will not pass on this data without your consent.

We are obliged to comply with the legal provisions of data protection and to maintain the confidentiality of communications. Confidential handling of business secrets and personal data, discretion, and confidentiality are our top priorities.

2. Access data

Based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), we collect data about access to the website in order to ensure the security of our servers and, if necessary, to investigate cases of misuse. The access data is stored for a maximum of 28 days in so-called “server log files” and includes the name of the file accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the notification of successful access, the browser type and version, the user's operating system, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), and the requesting provider. This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals and is not merged with data from other data sources.

3. Use of Matamo (formerly Piwik)

Our website uses functions of the open source web analysis service Matamo (formerly Piwik). We operate Matamo on our servers in Germany. No data is transferred to a non-European third country. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized. This means that only a rough localization is possible. We use cookies for this purpose, which enable us to analyze the use of the website. The information generated in this way is transferred to our servers and stored there. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) lit. f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offering and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized. User data is stored for a period of 180 days and then deleted.

4. Use of web fonts via Adobe Typekit and Google Fonts

Our website uses web fonts from Adobe Typekit and Google Fonts. Adobe Typekit is a service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. that enables us to embed our corporate design fonts in the website (web fonts). For this purpose, a connection is established between your browser and Adobe Typekit so that the web fonts can be loaded. When you visit a page on our website that uses Google Fonts, your browser will request these fonts from Google's servers, and Google may collect data about your device (including your IP address) as part of this process. 5. Use of our newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. To do so, we need your email address and, optionally, your first name and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. Once you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following email address: service@agilityvisual.ai or use the option to unsubscribe directly via our newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.

6. YouTube videos

In some areas of our website, we have integrated YouTube videos as a source of evidence-based knowledge. If you visit a page with an integrated YouTube video, a server connection to YouTube is generated. YouTube is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you are logged into your YouTube or Google account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Google or YouTube account.

7. Declaration of consent

Visitors to the website expressly consent to their personal data being used for the purposes disclosed in this privacy policy. Visitors also agree that CE may process the contact details provided when contacting CE via the web form (in particular name, email address) for its own marketing purposes and to send them regular information about AgilityVisual, special offers, news, and other customer information by post and email. 8. Cookies

The website uses cookies in some cases (small text files that are stored on the user's computer). Most of the cookies used by CE are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after the end of the visit to the website. Of course, the website can also be viewed without cookies, but in this case, the full functionality of the homepage may be limited. To prevent cookies from being stored, “do not accept cookies” must be selected in the browser settings.

9. Data deletion

If the registration data is no longer required for the agreed purposes and if the registration data does not need to be retained for tax or other legal reasons, it will be deleted without request.
